Cody is a mobster who works for crimelord Frank D'Amico in Kick-Ass.

Cody's association with Frank D'Amico made him a target of the father-daughter crime-fighting duo Big Daddy and Hit-Girl who tracked him down and held him hostage inside his own car at a construction yard, cuffing his hands to the wheel to prevent him from escaping and threatening to crush the car with Cody inside unless he provided them with the names and addresses of each and every one of Frank D'Amico's henchmen. Cody did so, believing the two crime-fighters would spare him once he gave them what they wanted. Big Daddy thanked Cody for his cooperation, but then gestured for Hit-Girl, who was standing in front of the control panel, to crush the car. Cody begged for his life but was ignored by the vigilantes who stood by and watched him die before leaving the yard.
